There are two seasons in Indonesia: wet and dry. In most areas of Indonesia is the dry season from May to September and the rainy season from October to April. The best time to go to Indonesia is in the dry season, although you can dive all year round.
If you believe the variety and adventure is the spice of life, you've come to the right place, amazing and unforgettable Indonesia, where you can look into your eyes on more than 3000 different fish species and fabulous! Compare to 1500 in the Great Barrier Reef and only 600 in the Red Sea, and here you have an amazing array of coral diversity and rich full life just waiting to be discovered.

To plan a trip I usually use this guide Diving Map because they have a large map and give a good overview of Indonesia with the best places to be missed.

You also have the chance to see Manta Rays fish gliding gracefully through the water at many dive sites around the country as well as the mysterious Mola Mola in Bali. reef sharks and a wide range of large groups of pelagic fish are also very common in many places and the macro life just as superb with quite possibly some of the best muck diving spot in the world, such as Lembeh Strait, Sulawesi.

The good thing is, you can dive almost anywhere in Indonesia! Read this book Diving Map to get a small glimpse of the underwater paradise that might just inspire you to come and see the real thing and unforgettable!
